The 2 oz battery was put in a cardboard box measuring about 9 x 6 x6 inches with a single air cushion plastic bag. There was no protection for the battery but a battery pack is not fragile anyway! None ws really needed.
This shipping cost me almost $6.00! More than the battery!
A cheap padded bag would have been just as good and USPS would have been less than half the shipping fee. Hoew stupid can you get!
I am disappointed by the vendor's choice of shipping. Amazon should also be informed.

I was hesitant to buy this battery because it didn't list my phone model number which is: TRU9485-2 but even the back of my phone says "use only Uniden BT-446 or BT-1005" - so I figured this battery would work fine. I am very happy with this battery and have been using it for nearly two months and I am amazed how long it lasts. I had three bars out of three after 120 minutes use yesterday and it's still going strong without an overnight charge. This even tops the 1005 that came with the phone when it was new.
You get what you pay for at least with this. Battery lasted about 3 months now cuts out on us. August 29, 2010
