2 out of 5 stars Poor reception, charges fine   September 3, 2010
The Champ
First I should mention how "lucky" I've been with this item. Within the first 10 minutes of opening, I almost broke the remote's battery slot, thinking it was trash. (It has a non-removable iPod sticker on it that led me to believe it was just a demonstration piece). Next, when I tried widening the jaws so that the cradle area could hold my Zune, they popped out violently and sliced my thumb open!

Reception is just plain terrible - I got absolutely nothing except for 107.9 FM with my Zune volume way up and my car speakers blasting. Even then, it was still 80% static. I gave it 2 out of 5 because it works fine as a charger, though.

1 out of 5 stars this product was terrible   August 30, 2010

this product has not worked since the day I got it. I should have known that at the price it was being sold at, it wasn't going to be a steal. Realoistically, it would probably cost me as much as I paid for it to ship it back and insure it. My reccomendations, don't buy this

5 out of 5 stars Shockingly Good - From a skeptic   August 28, 2010
Clean Shaven in CT (Fairfield County, CT United States)
First let me start by saying I have tried a couple of these type of devices in the past, form big brand name manufacturers, that cost at least four to five times as much, and I was disappointed to say the least. I wound up returning them in disgust.
I own a 2007 Honda Accord EX, which otherwise I love, except for the limitations on the sound system.
Although I have the "Premium" JBL sound system, my stereo will not play MP3 CDs, nor does it have an aux port input like other cars.
So when I saw this device that would allow my to play my Zune HD in my car, and that it was highly rated for only ten dollars, I was skeptical to say the least, but I figured it was worth a shot.
First off, let me say that you will not be disappointed. When I first received this product and I saw the inexpensive packaging and "Chinglish" (Chinese-English)instructions, I did not have high expectations.
When I actually used it, I was surprised. This product WORKS!!! It allows you to tune to any frequency in the FM band, in 0.1 MHz increments. I say this, because some manufacturers have only a handful of presets that you can use (typically 3 - 5).
It even comes with a little remote control (cheesy looking, but it works) that lets you preset to a number of different frequencies.
So if you are looking for an inexpensive method to play your Zune HD in your Honda, this is it.

One last comment. The lower jaws that hold the Zune HD player are adjustable. At first I thought they sent the wrong product because my Zune HD would not fit. It was after fiddling with it that I realized that the cradle is adjustable. So please note before you make the same error.

Happy listening.

Product works as described. Wish that you could turn it left to right very a better view, other than that, perfect.

3 out of 5 stars get what you pay for   August 12, 2010
Kyle
This item is worth the money you pay for it when compared with other FM transm. But beware of several things: 1)this item produces quite a bit of fuzz no matter what station you tune to. It interferes with the music and is quite annoying. 2)this item plugs into the zune through an AUX input, not the bottom USB port like ipod transmitters and like what is pictured in the photograph 3) this item is cheaply made. the casing broke for the wires that extend into the charger hookup. The black casing at the end of the wire broke in half within the first week. It still operates, but is sort of annoying.

Just be aware of some of these things. I am upgrading my radio now so that it will have an AUX input built in. I think saving up some extra money and getting a better radio is worth it. I was not very satisfied with this transmitter.
