This product is not great. The fit on the sides is not snug and the grip I would rate as not so great. I wanted it to have a better grip and fit. It is kind of loose on sides. I will stick with my bodyglove snap on case. Looks better and feels better and fits better than this thing. I would not recommend this.

So after spending a penny on this case (thankfully not more), I came to learn that there have been multiple iterations of the Hero phone. Do a Google image search to see.

So if you have the new Hero (the one pictured at the top of the page, it will sort of fit, but very poorly. Additionally it covers the camera hole, and the hole on the side for the volume buttons is offset so far that only the up button is accessible. I'm giving this product one star not because of its quality or the way it was shipped, but simply because the picture they included on this page is simply wrong, and a lot of people obviously are getting surprised by it

It was the wrong skin case for my htc hero it looks like one of the older htc hero skin cases.
Wish people new what they were doing sometimes.

I got my wife the Crystal Hard Rubberized case, which fits very tightly. I got this one thinking it would be even more slim; it's not. This Silicon Gel Skin feels more "rubbery"--feels like Scuba gear (the Hard Rubberized feels more "plasticy"). CON: less tight fit, slightly bulkier profile, collects pocket link and dust. Also, it interferes slightly with the recharging cord, which falls out more. PRO: More protection, presumably, due to thicker, softer skin. NEUTRAL: less skidding, but harder to extract from pocket.

It is the right shape, size, and idea, but I really was expecting a snug fit like I've seen on other phones. My preference is more like a glove; this one doesn't have it.
