Not good for kindle. September 6, 2010 Leo C. Dillon (Salem, OR USA) Not a bad product, but not good for the kindle... It causes a glare on the screen, and the whole idea of the kindle is to not have that glare. I would not recommend it for your Kindle. I removed it on the second day.
Not Neccesary And Not Working August 30, 2010 MLandgraf I thought I would do some good to my newly ordered Kindle DX if I would use a protective cover for my screen. It didn't work, not really.
So what is this product? It is basically nothing like a quite thin adhesive foil (it does protect only against minor scratches, not pressure and hits), slightly smaller than the cutout in the DX for the display. And it comes with protective foils on the foil, auxiliary tools (a cardbord slip and a micro fiber kerchief) and a few explanations - you think that you have bought a valuable product.
The problem is, however, that I was too dumb to apply the foil without getting air bubbles. I tried it many times, but did not succeed. Here I have to blame myself - a professional surely would have been able to apply it with less bubbles...
After having given up and having removed the last protective foil I was absolutely taken aback - I looked onto a mirror - all the reflections were back which someone else might have missed on this fantastic matte display of the Kindle. Not me. How come that someone puts this lot of ideas into a product and messes it up by such a basically wrong decision? A thin, high glossy foil instead a thicker, matte one?
I removed everything and threw it away. Now I am happy again - my kindle protects itself (the display has really a high quality, no scratches yet) and does neither reflect the sun nor the rest of the world.
And in case someone knows a thicker (1mm) matte foil with much less adhesive I really would appreciate a tipp...
Screen Protector August 16, 2010 jhouse It was a little tricky to put on. Best to start at the top and gradually smooth down (top to bottom). Great price and does the job.
not so trnsparent! August 12, 2010 Tammy 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product is extremely difficult to apply without having bubbles or dust particles attached to its underside.

this screen protector is horrible! it's too reflective and makes the Kindle difficult to read. i would prefer to have a scratch on my Kindle screen than use this product!
