 Good idea but crappy March 9, 2010

Same problem as others have described here. Only lasted 40 days for me. Don't by this product; you could lose or damage your phone when the clip brakes.

As many have mentioned, the clip on this item is prone to breaking...in fact, mine arrived broken! Don't buy this thing!

Overall this is a great case and belt holster. However minor quality imperfections may keep the case from fully snapping together (not an issue with case snapping into holster, only bottom piece into main case). I had to trim the interface edges on the main case and bottom piece, that sides into bottom, as it would not fully snap into place (tab into slot). I used a razor blade and trimmed the extra flash/plastic off and fixed the problem. My wife bought the same case, without holster, and had the same issue. Not a big deal but for the price you pay you should not have to trim extra plastic off the edge to fit the case together. Overall it seems rugged and have only knocked my phone out of the holster once or twice due to not fully snapping it into place. I would rate this a 5 star but having to trim off the uneven/extra plastic cost the review a star...
Great system but will break if abused March 3, 2010

I love this system but I am on my third belt clip. I have broken it getting out of my truck, stepped on it in the night, and caught it on objects. A suggestion: don't wear the clip without the phone in it, it sticks out from your belt and snaps off very easily. Seidio will sell the belt clip only but after shipping you might as well buy the whole thing over from Amazon. Be careful ordering a clip only, they make one that does not fit the phone if the case is on it.
Breaks too easily - poor value for price March 3, 2010

I have had two of these now. Both broke after <6 months use. The clip that holds the top of the phone in the holster just breaks off completely from the holster body.
I now buy Kroo holsters in quantity. They are not as well built, but they offer a stand for watching videos. They are inexpensive enough that I don't care when they break (one month on first one without a break so far).
Seidio knows about the problem, but their solution (after the 90 day warranty) is to offer a 10% discount if you buy a replacement from them (which means you pay more than Amazon's best prices).
If Seidio ever fixes the problem or at least offers a one year warranty (including a new year warranty on replacement holsters), then I will probably go back to Seidio. For now - it is a rip-off due to poor life expectancy.
