I was expecting more vocabulary, but the one that comes with it is actually helpful, so I guess it's ok. I think it's a good product to have if it's needed. The price is also good for the product itself.
Esperaba que el vocabulario incluido en el producto fuese mas extenso pero no es asi necesariamente. Mas sin embargo, el vocabulario existente es de suficiente ayuda, pienso yo. No esta tan mal el producto. Por el precio, creo que es un buen producto que obtener si se necesita.

Packaging is so difficult to remove and the attachment for the cover is so delicate that the cover broke off from the body of the device when it was opened. Not recommended until packaging and design is changed.

I am a serious student of Spanish and I wouldn't be without this very helpful tool. I speak a little Spanish but I'm not fully conversational. I have a Spanish speaking friend who speaks less English than I speak Spanish. This device has proven itself most invaluable in conversation between us.
Should and could be slightly smaller. It can be a very tight fit in the shirt pocket.
Too many features ie games. I'd rather have more words and phrases.
The font size and contrast are adjustable. Some reviews complain about difficulty reading.
No back light so you will need adequate lighting but no more than you would need to read anything else.
I get about 6 month out the batteries with frequent use. Takes 2 (cr2032) batteries/not that expensive. On Amazon for about $1.00 each.
Has spell check so if you misspell it will find your word.
Keyed to the English speaker. Might be more difficult for Spanish speakers to use.
As a previous reviewer noted you can't look up England. Nor can you any proper name for that matter. This a serious oversight and has prompted me to change rating from 5 to 4 stars.

My family went on a one week spanish immersion trip to Mexico over Spring break. I knew I couldn't bring our college sized paper spanish-english dictionary. So, I bought this electronic spanish-english dictionary for the trip. The dictionary arrived the week before our trip. In the Mexican airport, I looked up gasoline at the car rental counter and everything was going fine. I put the electronic dictionary in my pocket. I went out and picked up the car. When I pulled the electronic calculator out of my pocket in the car, it was already broken. The screen cracked and was solid purple. We hadn't even left the airport yet. This product should have withstood the stress of being in my pocket. I was without a dictionary for the entire trip. Can you believe the thing broke within a week of my purchase? At 40 days after the purchase date, I called Franklin and asked for a replacement since it is under the one year warrenty. They said that the warrenty doesn't cover the screen. I read every word of the warrenty and it says it doesn't cover the batteries but it doesn't say anything about not covering the screen. Don't buy this thing, it breaks too easily!!!
